We are proud to announce that the Four Rivers Institute is up and running!!!  2012-2013 our volunteers and student interns will be preparing the campus, equipment and curriculum to accommodate our first yearlong students in the fall of 2013!!!  We are celebrating by inviting you to become a part of our extended family.  Together we can change and empower our youth to lead their home communities.  All programs and opportunities at the Four Rivers Institute are made possible because of generous and caring individuals who send private donations.  We are a Non-profit Organization; therefore the school depends on your charitable contributions.  Together we can climb this mountain and realize a bright future for our continents First People!

We appreciate all of your support however large or small!  Our students will return to their communities ready to pay it forward!

Cloud  ($1-$40) Each student will be sacrificing a year of their life to gain the necessary skills to become community leaders.  Every dollar of support goes a long way to encourage them! (Subscription to monthly newsletter and sticker)

Creek  ($50-$90)  Our students will work with Tribal communities and other charitable programs.  Your support will help make these collaborations possible! (T-shirt and Subscription to monthly newsletter)

Stream ($100-$500) It will cost $21,000 dollars per student for the yearlong training and certifications.  Your support will give our students an incredible opportunity to not only succeed but also thrive even in harsh tribal economies! (Tax Deductible letter, T-shirt, Entry in annual gift prize drawing, subscription to monthly newsletter)

 River  ($600-$900) Our tuition which includes room and board is below the National average for the cost of a year in a state college and our students will not only receive 50+ college credits but will also receive 10 professional certifications and 9 months of field experience!  (Tax letter, Certificate, 3 T-shirts, Entry in gift prize drawing, Subscription to monthly newsletter)

Lake  ($1000-$24,000) While we receive Charitable Foundation and Tribal support.  It is the generous private donors that help our students the most, by showing them the power of grassroots philanthropy! (Invitation to annual funders adventure event, Tax letter, Certificate, 3 t-shirts, Entry in annual prize drawing, Subscription to monthly newsletter)

Ocean ($ 25,000-a million?)  Please help us on our path to financial sustainability!  With your help we can help heal the future of Native America! (Founders Circle Membership and Placard, Invitation to annual funders adventure event, Tax letter, certificate, 3 t-shirts, Entry in annual prize drawing, Subscription to monthly newsletter)

The Four Rivers Institute is a 501c3 organization under the fiscal sponsorship of the Community Foundation Serving Southwest Colorado. The Community Foundation assists us, as a start up non profit organization, with all aspects of fiscal management including board training, tax filing and proper documentation. We are very fortunate to have a partner with a long history of sound fiscal practices. This allows us to focus on our mission while we develop good fiscal policies under their expert wings.
